PURE TEA TREE OIL FOR ACNE: 5 HOME REMEDIES

Tea Tree Oil is famous for its medicinal properties, and its important role in skincare. The oil is originally from Australia, extracted from the Melaleuca alternifolia tree. Owing to its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, it can be used for multiple skin problems. Its anti-bacterial properties help unclog pores, and reduce breakouts in the skin, making it a perfect acne treatment. The oil can be mixed with different ingredients to make home remedies for acne. We shall talk about different home remedies of pure tea tree oil for acne.

Tea Tree Oil & Aloe Vera Gel:

For this remedy, mix two teaspoons of aloe vera gel in one teaspoon of tea tree oil. Store the mixture and apply it twice a day after cleansing. Apply it on the spots only.

Tea Tree Oil Mud Mask:

Use clay powder and add 3-4 drops of tea tree oil into it. To make a smooth paste, add rose water as well. Thinly apply it all over your face and let it dry. Once dried, wash it off with water. Use the mask twice a week.

Tea Tree Oil Overnight Mask:

For this overnight mask, mix 2 drops of pure tea tree oil, half teaspoon of coconut oil, and 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. Blend the ingredients well together and apply it thinly onto your face before going to sleep. Wash it off with warm water in the morning.

Tea Tree Spot Reduction Mask:

For a spot reduction mask, mix one teaspoon of tea tree oil in 2 teaspoons of almond oil, or any other suitable carrier oil and properly blend in the mixture. Apply it with a Q-tip to the acne spots. For best results, apply it twice a day to the spots after washing.

Tea Tree Oil Peel Off Mask:

For a blackhead peel-off mask, mix charcoal powder, gelatin clay together. Add hot water to the mixture and stir well. Once properly mixed, add the tea tree oil to the mixture and blend again. Apply this mask for 15-20 minutes. Once dried, peel it off. For best results mask once a week.
